UT3 Server Monitor

Thanks to the effort from Skully & kE we now have a server monitor for Unreal Tournament 3 Integrated with the website.

Below is a preview of the monitor, we also have these integrated for our UT and UT2004 servers.

You can view the monitor by using the Info tab at the top of the screen.

I would advise you also to download this texture file, it is not included in the map pack and is needed for map testing.

Make Something Unreal

INTEL AND EPIC GAMES LAUNCH $1 MILLION INTEL MAKE SOMETHING UNREAL CONTEST

I wont bore the people who arent interested with all the details on it, those who are can view the general overview at the make something unreal homepage.

Like any other competition, there are many rules, which can be viewed here.

The competition includes categories such as best mutator, best gametype, best tool, best new weapon, best new charactor, and many more. You can view a full list here.

You can signup for the competition here. The dates for each phase of the competition can be viewed below:

Phase 1 - June 27, 2008
Phase 2 - October 17, 2008
Phase 3 - May 15, 2009
Phase 4 - August 31, 2009

Trackmania Nations Forever

Trackmania Nations Forever is the new game, and will once again be developed by Nadeo.

As the title suggest, the game will be heavily based on the current version of Trackmania Nations, but with a new stadium environment and a massive 65 new tracks, Nadeo hope that it will become popular not just with the casual gamer, but also with the e-sports competitors.

Even if you play Nations Forever quietly alone, you can still be ranked in the world, your country, your city or even in your list of friends that you can create by inviting friends to join like in Facebook or MySpace.

It is up to each player to set his or her goals - become one of the best players in the world or just impress friends. These ladders are adapted to everyone and they add ten times more interest to solo or multiplayer modes.

Trackmania Nations is already hugely popular with the gaming world, with an estimated 30 million installs by over 4 million people worldwide, which is something not many games can claim to have achieved.

Nadeo are hoping that the game will be released on April 16th, and as mentioned earlier, it will be a free download. Those of you who own Trackmania United will also be able to claim a free expansion pack, United Forever.
